Michael's Genuine - Miami

Prada, Gucci, Cartier, Michael's Genuine (MG) ... It's fair to say that anywhere else one of these names would stand out..., but this isn't just anywhere. Welcome to the Miami Design District. Originally incepted some 20 year ago, the neighborhood has truly flourished into the luxe hub that it is today over the last 10-12 years. Michael Schwartz's Michael's Genuine restaurant, however, has been a household name amongst locals and considered the neighborhood restaurant to those in the know since opening the MG flagship in 2007. As the neighborhood's landscape has evolved some serious neighbors have moved in including L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon (Florida's only 2 Michelin Star restaurant), Cote Korean Steakhouse - a personal favorite, and Swan - partly owned by none other than mogul & visionary, Pharrell Williams.

Even with their new trendy neighbors and Miami elite as regulars, Chef Michael Schwartz's team has not been swayed away from their approachable and casual environment all the while prioritizing hospitality and upscale cuisine. With recent expansion renovations the restaurant takes advantage of the Florida weather offering an outside in concept and courtyard dining throughout the day and evening. Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and Executive Chef, Bradley Herron, has led the team to consecutive Michelin Bib recognitions in 2022 and 2023. "Always genuine - the special experience that results when delicious food and thoughtful service come together."
