Dorsia - Montreal

In Old Montréal, history lingers in every cobblestone and limestone façade, yet reinvention is a core value of the neighborhood. Dorsia restaurant captures that balance perfectly. A modern fine-dining destination in a heritage building, where marble, mirrors, and blown-glass chandeliers nod to European glamour while the energy is distinctly contemporary. It’s “then & now” in perfect harmony, the past providing the stage and the present taking a confident bow.

From written history to making history, for the first time in April 2025 the province of Quebec received its first Michelin Guide. Ranging from honorable mentions to one Two Michelin star recipient, 98 restaurants throughout the province were recognized. On a recent trip to my hometown I indulged in a few restaurants which were once local favorites and now solidified to a global audience.

Back to Dorsia, the team is led by Chef Miles Pundsack-Poe, whom I happen to share some Dined There history with. It seems that I dined at The Restaurant at Meadowood while he was Chef de Cuisine there in 2015. The skills that he displayed then, and amassed throughout his Michelin-level pedigree career show in the precision and richness of each dish. Dorsia blends French technique with Italian warmth — think Lobster Ravioli in "Sauce Américaine", Limoncello Tiramisu for sharing, and delicate sauces on the daily specials menu that linger in memory. The restaurant’s mention in the Michelin Guide cements its place among the city’s top tables, and its interior design wraps every meal in a sense of occasion. Here, Old Montréal’s charm isn’t just preserved; it’s plated. For more information visit www.RestaurantDorsia.com .
